Before the Transition, Inc Events 2009 - Present

  • Provided workshops, mentoring to single mothers at a shelter in Los Angeles. 2009

  • Los Angeles Probation Department DRC graduations 2010 to Present.

  • First Annual Career Moves - Dress for Success Event at Central Juvenile Hall, a collaboration with Women Empowered of Probation Association. Served on committee to assist with a 'Dress for Success Day' with Central Juvenile Hall and Women Empowerment (8/6/2011) With help Bath and Body Works, in Cerritos, CA. 

  • Trade Tech/LATTC Memorial Day Celebration with Bryan Scott, former Lakers Coach, 5/2015.

  • Assisted with clothing for law enforcement Honor and Strength Community Re-Entry and Rehabilitation Program (LAPD), Women’s Treatment Program Los Angeles Metropolitan Churches (LAM/HOPICS) (women coming out of incarnation), Vinewood Re-Entry. Federal Program 2011 to 2016.

  • Pathway to Your Future (single mother shelter) 2010

  • Battleship Iowa’ in Long Beach, CA. Veterans Resource Fair 2015-2016.

  • Urban League, and Volunteers of America (service center for veterans). 2013-2016

  • Graduating foster youths with Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) for two years 2011-2012.

  • Provided clothing to EDD office located in Compton, and presently have a closet with EDD Disable Veteran Outreach Program located in Canoga, CA, 2015.

  • Lake Elsinore Alternative High School 3/2015, and closet is in progress...10/2016

  • BTT was given the opportunity to partner with Global Community/Starbucks Schultz Foundation, partnering with, Nordstrom, and Alliance for Children’s Right ‘Suit 4a Suit’ project, to clothed foster youth, and other seeking jobs in the ‘100k Opportunities’ event on 2/11/16 at the Los Angeles Convention Center, in Los Angeles CA that had an attendance of over 1000.

  • UCLA Anthony & Jeanne Pritzker Family Foundation | Pritzker Foster Care Initiative Goods for Grades event on April 7, 2016 which partnered with other charity agencies who gave clothing to foster youth on campus who was seeking jobs and graduates. 

  • Battleship Iowa’ in Long Beach, CA: Professional clothing donation on 8/21/2015 and 8/26/2016 for the Inaugural Career & Resources Fair, Sponsored by: South Bay Veteran Employment Committee.  In Collaboration with: Isadore Hall, III, Senator, 35th District, Patrick O’Donnell, Assembly member, 70th District, Assembly member Mike Gipson, 64th District, Supervisor Don Knabe, County of Los Angeles, Fourth District, Eric Garcetti, Los Angeles Mayor, CRS Productions, South Bay WIB, Department of Social Services, Cal VET, VFW, New Directions for Veterans, and the Employment Development Department. 

  • BTT also coordinated a fashion show on 9/17/2016 in Lake Elsinore, at the Outlet Mall with VF Clothing store, and it was a big success!

  • Operation Makeover – assisted with event that makeover veteran women, located in Riverside, CA, 10/8/2016.
